Eric Lowe
Eric is the founding partner in ERL Consultancy. He understands the challenges faced by Sales teams in todays complex IT world and is expert in the area of storage networking. In the 1980’s he was the founder and CEO of a successful Software Company focussed on Unix Back Up and Archiving - after various acquisitions this is now known as Bakbone Software which is sold throughout the world. During the 1990’s he was involved, at executive and shareholder level, with two businesses developing a variety of world leading interface products. Eric is a UK national and since 2004 has delivered various programs throughout EMEA, South America and Asia. These programs - which focus on the need to change the sales philosophy of both pre and post sales teams - have met with great success. Eric has also been involved in the development of some “hybrid” programs for particular needs. What Eric brings is a rare combination of experience. He has run sales teams; developed new business throughout the world; put cross corporate teams together to deliver solutions; developed political awareness; worked with OEM and integration partners; managed change. Eric has also been involved with the Storage Network Industry Association helping to establish industry wide standards and qualifications throughout Europe. |

Eric was educated in the UK and holds 3 “A” levels, including Economics, from Eltham College, and an HNC in Business Studies from Watford College. More recently he has passed (and trained) all the Storage Network Industry Association examinations including Certified Architect; and has been a CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer since 2004.
Eric is married with 3 sons - all of whom are involved in IT! He is based in Poole in Dorset, in the south of England. He frequently travels throughout the world.
